RentPay listens to the valuable feedback and insights on features that renters and property managers would like to see – both in the tenant app and Agents dashboard. So, we always seek opportunities to continue developing new capability to enhance benefits and meet our clients’ requirements.
Following the release of a new tenancy invoicing and bill payments feature in early August 2024, RentPay is again on the move and responding to the ever-changing needs of both renters and property managers in Australia.
We're proud to release the new rental adjustments feature through RentPay’s award-winning rental payment platform.
Rental adjustments are a tricky and difficult process to navigate, both for tenants and property managers. Tenants need to be informed in a timely manner to adjust their payment schedules and budgets. Agents need to make sure their tenants are aware of the adjustment and pay the correct amount from the correct date to avoid going into arrears.
Being able to trigger a rental adjustment through the RentPay Agents dashboard now makes this unwieldy process a breeze! Tenants will receive a notification about the change to their regular rental payment, prompting them to update their RentPay payment schedule conveniently and efficiently.
Once the tenant confirms the rental adjustment in just a few clicks, their payment schedule is automatically updated. RentPay then handles the rest, ensuring the correct payment amount when it's due.
This rental adjustment feature offers next-level convenience to both tenants and property managers using RentPay.
The rental adjustments feature greatly benefits real estate agencies and property managers, not only in improving rental payment performance and efficiency, but also in the convenience and professionalism agents display to their tenants and landlords.
Through this feature, agents can easily process, request and manage rental adjustments. Automated alerts and reminders from RentPay to the tenant on behalf of the agent removes the burden of constant follow-ups, saving time and money.
There's also a greater visibility of whether the tenant has actioned the rental adjustment request through the status updates on the RentPay Agents dashboard.
If you’re an agent and need help on this feature, please contact your RentPay client manager and we’ll send you a how-to guide with all the details.
For tenants, updating payments to meet rent pricing changes can be done in just a few clicks and it’s sorted. The automated alerts, reminders and notifications make sure renters are on top of their game and avoid going into arrears.
This set-and-forget approach allows tenants to save time on mundane administration tasks and move on instead to life’s other more important activities.
