Invite a Friend Terms and Conditions

Terms Used

• Inviter: the existing RentPay user who invites their friends to use RentPay.  

• Invitee: the friend who receives the invitation to join RentPay.  

 
Eligibility 

To invite your friends to join RentPay, the Inviter (existing user) must have an active RentPay account, have paid at least $1,500 in rent to their agent since activation and any associated fees (i.e. not have any outstanding fees owing to RentPay). An Invitee’s status can be tracked in the RentPay app by the Inviter.

Each Invitee (friend invited or new user) to use RentPay must use the Inviter's unique invitation code to sign up and activate a RentPay account. The Invitee needs to qualify for the cashback by paying at least $1,500 in rent since activating, as well as any associated fees (i.e. not have any outstanding fees owing to RentPay).

Once these two qualifying criteria have been satisfied, both the Inviter and Invitee are eligible to receive the cashback from RentPay paid into their respective RentPay wallet.  

Cashback Qualification Criteria and Timing

The Invitee needs to qualify for the cashback by paying at least $1,500 in rent to their agent since activation and have paid any associated fees (i.e. not have any outstanding fees owing to RentPay). The time it takes an invitee to qualify will depend on them paying their rent and fees regularly. Once these two qualifying criteria have been satisfied, both the Inviter and Invitee are eligible to receive the Invite a Friend cashback. The Invitee will still be eligible for, qualify, and receive the Invite a Friend cashback even if the Inviter is no longer an active RentPay user in the future.

Invitations and Cashback Payment

Inviters can invite as many friends to use RentPay as they wish. There is no limit on the number of friends which Inviters can invite, or the cashback earned, once Invitees have met the qualification criteria.

Only one (1) Invite a Friend cashback will be paid per person qualified. The amount of the cashback paid is at the sole discretion of RentPay and may change at any time. The value of Invite a Friend cashback paid to a user's RentPay wallet can be tracked in the RentPay app.  

General Terms and Conditions

1. The Invitee cannot have been a previous RentPay user. Only new users to RentPay are eligible to earn a cashback (i.e. no cashback will be offered to users who have previously signed up to RentPay). However, Inviters can invite other friends new to RentPay and earn cashback.
2. RentPay reserves the right, with or without prior notice, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Invite a Friend program in general or in relation to specific participants (even if otherwise eligible) if there is any regulatory reason; or if there is any suspicion of unreasonable manipulation or exploitation of the Invite a Friend program; or if there is any fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Invite a Friend program, as determined by RentPay in its sole discretion. 
3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions amends or changes the User Agreement of RentPay.
4. Once all qualifications have been satisfied, Invite a Friend cashback and will be paid to both active users' respective RentPay wallets.
5. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits a RentPay user's right to withdraw funds from their RentPay wallet.
6. The user is solely responsible for any taxation on the Invite a Friend cashback payment.
